It was pretty clear from December that Liverpool were going to win the league. With City not playing to well and Arsenal dropping so many points, it was only a matter of time before Liverpool became Champions of England.
Although I predicted Liverpool would come in third place at the start of the season, I am surprised by Arnie Slot this season, and his new era at Anfield has proven to be just as strong manager he really is.
Liverpool have been fantastic this season, taking advantage of Manchester City’s dip in form. With only 2 losses so far, they have played consistently well. With the title secured, I feel they they may even rest some players in the remaining games and they may drop a few points, but who cares? Liverpool are Champions of England for the 2024/25 season.
